Yes, new beginning is always happiness. My first jewellery making episode starts with quilling these vibrant earrings. Double colored tight coils placed inside a pencil wound tight coils form the basic element. When they are hung around in a fish hook, ta..da...they are ready.

Diwali is a day of auspicious beginnings. The great day is round the corner and I think this is the time to start my long-planned, long-awaited blog. I created it in the name of Athiral Designs, where Athiral is the Tamil name of flowers of jewel vine, a beautiful, evergreen shrub. What could be best suited name for a blog mostly dedicated to quilled jewellery, my latest interest. Will continue to create designs and blog as much as possible.
